We thank the North Fork community for the tremendous support you have given the Thrift Shop over the years. After necessary utilities are paid, every penny derived from the Thrift Shop is returned to the community in some way. Everyone on our staff is a volunteer.
We regret being closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our staff has worked hard to prepare for a safe reopening. Because the pandemic is not yet over, we will be following the guidelines in place for our county and state. Everyone over the age of 2 will wear a face covering while inside the building. Everyone must maintain social distancing and stay home if feeling the least bit ill (including all children). We understand that part of the Thrift Shop experience for many of our customers is to socialize. We ask our customers to be aware of our maximum allowed capacity (25%) and socialize outside after doing their shopping to avoid lines at the door. All requirements will be posted.
The time that we are open has changed for the duration of the pandemic. We will be open only on Thursdays from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. This may change as we gain more experience to provide the best service to the community with our limited staff. We appreciate your donations and ask that you bring them during our open hours.
