Note: The Deacons of Grace Community Church give out food boxes any time of the year to needy families. This is during the Thrift Shop hours.
Another popular outreach to the community is the Christmas food giveaway just before the holidays. Sign up is required and may be done so at the Thrift Shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Several bags of food are provided to each family.
In 2013, Christmas boxes and bags were given to 206 local mountain families in need, and in 2014 we gave away 225 boxes, helping them have a Merry Christmas!
